WIP: Hi-poly Canon A-1

Finishing up a hi-poly model of the camera.

I learned and accomplished lots this semester:
-use xNormals to bake normal maps and occlusion maps
-able to model faster and better
-learned how to use marmoset to render models
-finished a portfolio website
-have a good idea of how long a model takes to get done
-better understanding of hi-poly and low-poly models

Other things I've worked on this semester

Modeled by David Chiu and textured by me.

Canon A-1 film camera

For my next project I will be modeling the Canon A-1 35mm film camera that were made between 1978-1985. It is the first SLR camera to offer an electronically controlled programmed auto exposure mode.

I am also working on a website with a better layout to view thumbnails more efficiently. I am also trying to figure out  a way to layout my models on a sheet to show the mesh and poly count.
